Investigations of the soil properties and soil cover structure were carried out, the relationship between the soils and forest types of the Russian-Finnish park "Friendship" was studied. Soil survey maps M 1:50000 were made for the areas forming the park. The features of soils and soil cover are shown for the Finnish and Karelian areas of the park.
