The Green Belt of Fennoscandia (GBF) is a strip of territory stretching along the Russian-Finnish (in the north also Norwegian) border from the Barents to the Baltic Sea. The core areas of GBF are protected areas (PAs) of both federal and regional subordination in Republic of Karelia, Murmansk and Leningrad Regions, Norway and Finland, which are situated along the border and ecologically linked with each other.
