Methods for engineering and implementing the automated system for gathering and analysis of the information about the parameters of the physical environment in long-term non-stop observations are reported. The system architecture involves microprocessor-based units with wireless technology. Trial runs took place during field experiments in a mire near the Kindasovo research station and in greenhouses of the Agrobiological Station of the Institute of Biology, Karelian Research Centre of RAS.
