The features of geological structures of the Fennoscandian Green Belt areas and the mechanisms of the lithosphere_biosphere links, involving endogenous fluids and the radioactive gas radon, are discussed. The measurements of radon volume activity, carried out in the geological structures in the study area, showed that a sufficient radon concentration is capable of influencing the biota. The examples of such influence include the anomalies of growth in the woody plants and the emergence of large anthills in the local areas.
