Data on the state of aquatic ecosystems forming the Green Belt of Fennoscandia (Lake Paanajärvi, Kamennoe, Tulos, Tolvajärvi, Pyhäjärvi) are given. Up to the present day, historically developed fish species composition has remained unchanged in the reservoirs. It is shown that stable and slightly influenced ecosystems have a high diversity rate and form a foundation for genetic conservation.
