The paper provides an overview of the current entomological research in the Russian part of the Green Belt of Fennoscandia. The number of Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, and Diptera species, known in the biogeographical provinces within the GBF, is given, and some interesting findings are discussed. The unevenness in the knowledge of entomofauna in the area is emphasized.
