The Changes in the species composition and abundance of open landscape birds on Kizhi Skerries Islands Lake Onega in 1974–2013 are analyzed. A depauperation of the species composition and a decline of the numbers of most meadow birds and other species, ecologically connected with open habitats, has occured due to farmland degradation.
