The article contains preliminary results from the inventory of lichen flora of the Northern Ladoga region (Sortavala and Pitkaranta districts of Republic of Karelia) made in the course of the International field trip arranged in August 2004. A list of 413 species and infraspecific taxa of lichens and lichenicolous fungi is provided. 30 lichen species and 33 species of lichenicolous fungi are reported for the first time for the flora of Republic of Karelia.
