The Karelia Republic is one of the best in Russia on use of forest resources, but thus essentially lags behind Finland, therefore optimization of management by branch is necessary, and possible by criterion of profitability of businessmen. The new-classic theory of economy and the mathematical device of the theory of games are used, examples are considered. Results are recommended for branches obtaining and processing natural resources.
