Дополнение к конспекту флоры заповедника «Утриш» (Северо-Западный Кавказ). Сообщение 3
Kozhin M.N. Addition to the vascular plant flora of the Utrish Strict Nature Reserve, Northwest Caucasus. Report 3 // Transactions of Karelian Research Centre of Russian Academy of Science. No 1. Biogeography. 2024. P. 74–81
Keywords: vascular plants; floristic records; rare species; flora of Caucasus; Krasnodar Krai; reserve; Utrish
Started in 2021, the field work for a new flora in ventory continued in the Utrish Strict Nature Reserve in 2022. The territory of the reserve was covered by a network of floristic transects in which the locations of vascular plants were recorded. Among the newly recorded plant species, 23 are new findings for the territory of the Utrish Reserve, three of which are included in the third edition of the Red Data Book of the Krasnodar Krai. Lolium subulatum, previously known in Russia only in the vicinity of the city of Novorossiysk, was found. The western most Caucasian populations of Athyrium filix-femina and Ophioglossum vulgatum were recorded. In contrast to the studies of the previous year, no new plant species originating from food waste were found. However, Secale cereale was observed, apparently grown from forage for feeders scattered on a road. According to our preliminary assessment of literary sources and the new data of 2022, the flora of the Utrish Reserve within the new boundaries has 979 species of vascular plants.
