The paper reports information regarding 29 species of aphyllophoroid fungi new for the nature reserve within the Vepssky Les Nature Park, found during surveys carried out in 2023 in primary forests and 50 year-old post-clearcutting stands. A new finding for the Leningrad Region is Thelephora umbrinospora. New locations were identified for two aphyllophoroid species red-listed in the Leningrad Region (Cystostereum murrayi, Rigidoporus crocatus). Records also include locations harboring 12 indicator species (Cortinarius violaceus, Dichostereum boreale, Fuscopostia leucomallella, Hermanssonia centrifuga, Leptoporus mollis, Otidea onotica, Phellinidium ferrugineofuscum, Phellinus chrysoloma, P. populicola, P. viticola, Pycnoporellus fulgens, Rhodofomes roseus) and 10 specialist species (Amylocystis lapponica, Asterodon ferruginosus, Gloeoporus pannocinctus, Calcipostia guttulata, Crustoderma dryinum, Cystostereum murrayi, Phellopilus nigrolimitatus, Poriella subacida, Rhodonia placenta, Rigidoporus crocatus) of biologically valuable forests. Data are reported on the habitats and substrates of the detected fungal species. The findings are supported by herbarium specimens deposited at the KarRC RAS Herbarium (PTZ).
