Degassing of a plate saturated with hydrogen is considered. The experiment is based on the thermal desorption spectrometry (TDS) method. The model is a boundary-value problem with nonlinear boundary conditions. The main physical and chemical processes, such as diffusion and desorption, are taken into account. The method of estimating model parameters by measurements is proposed. The work was supported by the Russian Foundation for BasicResearch (grant 09-01-00439).
