The paper analyses materials dealing with radio broadcasting from Karelian printed media. The Karelian press of the 1930s was actively working to promote radio broadcasting in the republic through the propaganda of the idea among people of Karelia, linked the radio audience and broadcasters by encouraging and facilitating feedback.
