Changes in the list of lichens included in the new edition of the Red Data Book of Republic of Karelia [2007] are reported. Fifteen species from the previous edition of the Red Data Book of Karelia [1995] were delisted for various reasons (erroneous identification, changes in the taxonomic status, multiple new finds in Karelia, etc.), and 47 new species were included in the acting list. Reasons for the changes are discussed.
