The article analyses Finnish immigration from the United States and Canada during the early 1930s on the basis of statistical materials of the Resettlement Agency of the Council of People's Commissars of Soviet Karelia. Statistical analysis allows insights into the reasons for immigration and into the differences between the US and Canadian immigration groups.
